Washington DC Green Festival, the original green consumer living event, will debut in Washington DC this year at the Washington Convention Center on October 10-11, 2009. A joint project of Global Exchange and Green America, celebrating what’s working in communities—across the District, Maryland and Virginia—for people, for business and for the environment.

This year, the festival will highlight environmental sustainability issues that have been so relevant in headlines and town halls across the nation.Green Festival is a forum to explore and build sustainable solutions for communities and the environment.
